Blue Light Source
LED blue light is an ideal alternative to UV for activating a wide range of dyes including GelGreen, GelRed, SYBR Green, SYBR Gold, SYBR Safe and Ethidium Bromide. Blue light reduces the risk to lab personnel and does not damage DNA.
Advance Scientific has assembled a complete range of advanced gel imagers from UVITEC, Major Science and Maestrogen for visible light, fluorescence and chemiluminescent applications. We also have UV, blue light, white light and RGB transilluminators, thermal printers and thermal printer paper.
Fluorescence and Chemiluminescence Systems
The Alliance Q9 range of gel documentation systems from UVITEC festure super-cooled, high resolution CCD cameras that are ideal for chemiluminescence, fluorescence, blue light, RGB multiplexing, IR/NIR and visible light applications.
This transilluminator range from Major Science and Maestrogen includes products offering both UV and LED blue light or instruments with combinations of colours or near infrared.
This A6 width SONY thermal printer paper is available in standard, high gloss or high density versions. Please check out our Consumables section for information on our complete range of SONY thermal paper and blue film.
These SONY thermal printers are ideal for recording high resolution near photo quality images of gels or blots on thermal printer paper. We also offer replacement paper for these intruments.
Stand-alone Systems (no computer)
These stand-alone imaging systems don't need external computer control or the computer and software are integrated into the gel imaging system. They're ideal for laboratories with limited space and/or budget.
UV Light Source
Our extensive line of UV transilluminators for gel imaging and band cutting offers a choice of single or multiple wavelengths as well as a range of different sample viewing areas.
Visible Light and Fluorescence Systems
This range of gel documentation systems from UVITEC feature high resolution scientific grade cameras that make them ideal for visible light (colorimetric), fluorescent and blue light imaging applications.
