The SLB-01W UltraSlim LED blue light illuminator uses a high intensity LED array that can illuminate a range of blue light-activated dyes including EtBr, SYBR® Safe, SYBR Gold, SYBR® Green I & II, SYPRO® Ruby, SYPRO® Orange, Coomassie Fluor™ Orange stains, GelGreen, GelRed and Lumitein™ Protein Gel Stain.

The UltraSlim LED provides uniform and bright 470 nm excitation across gels up to 120 mm x 70 mm to identify even the faintest of bands. The LED array is safe to skin and eyes and does not damage DNA.

The unit is compact and slim and has an array of 108 LEDs that intensely illuminate samples from the side. A built-in adjustable filter/lid provides the optimum viewing conditions and is ideal for band cutting. No glasses are needed.

The SW-04 SlimWhite white light panel is an excellent source of white light. The unique light guide and diffuser creates a uniform light source (CV ~5%) which makes it ideal for high quality imaging of protein gels stained with Coomassie Blue or Silver Stain.

The key benefit of the SW-04 SlimWhite is that there is no need to use a converter screen to convert potentially harmful UV to white light and the LED light source will provide ~50,000 hours of use.

Integration with Maestrogen MC-02 gel imaging system

The SLB-03W can be integrated with the Maestrogen MC-02 imager with 24.2 Canon EOS M-series camera to create a complete system for gel imaging.

This compact, economical and portable MiniCute Imager from Maestrogen is ideal for routine image capture from gels stained with UV dyes such as Ethidium bromide or blue light-sensitive fluorescent dyes such as GelRed, GelGreen SYBRSafe and SYBR Green that are excited in the 470 nm range. When combined with the SLB-03W the MC-02 can also be used to capture white light images of protein gels stained with Coomassie Blue or Silver Stain.
