The Maestrogen UltraSlim LED blue light illuminator uses a high intensity LED array that can illuminate a range of blue light-activated dyes including EtBr, SYBR® Safe, SYBR Gold, SYBR® Green I & II, SYPRO® Ruby, SYPRO® Orange, Coomassie Fluor™ Orange stains, GelGreen, GelRed and Lumitein™ Protein Gel Stain.
The UltraSlim provides uniform and bright LED blue light at 470 nm across gels up to 120 mm x 70 mm to identify even the faintest of bands.
The unit is compact and slim and has an array of 108 LEDs that intensely illuminate samples from the side. A built-in adjustable filter/lid provides the optimum viewing conditions and is ideal for band cutting. No glasses are needed. The LED array is safe to skin and eyes and does not damage DNA.
