PFAM-2058 | Magnetisable polystyrene microparticles, amino-modified surface, pink fluorescence, 2.0 um - 2.9 um diameter

These particles are manufactured by coating a layer of iron oxide and polystyrene onto polystyrene core microparticles. They are magnetizable (paramagnetic) in that they are magnetized within a magnetic field but outside of the magnetic field the particles are not magnetic.

This paramagnetic feature allows these particles to be used for cell and cell fragment separation, protein, antibody and DNA isolation, affinity purification and DNA probe assays.
