Description

The MI-02 gel imaging system from Maestrogen features an embedded light source that emits blue/green light at 505 nm to generate a stronger signal from SYBR dyes and other dyes that are excited at this wavelength. The MI-02 also includes a built-in white light panel for imaging protein gels.

The imaging system incorporates a 24.7 megapixel Canon M-series digital camera for superb quality images. It also includes a switchable filter that holds an amber filter for use with blue/green LED light and a transparent filter for use with white light. 

Captured images can be stored on the camera's SD/SDHC memory card in JPEG or RAW format or sent by USB (2.0) or Wi-Fi to a suitable device.
