Description

The MPS-1 high speed shaker is designed for operation in regular laboratories as well as cold rooms and incubators and its low voltage external power supply (12 V) provides electrical safety in humid environments. 

The MPS-1 features a user-selectable speed range from 300 rpm - 3200 rpm as well as a number of pre-set fixed speeds and also Pulse Mode. In Pulse Mode the instrument generates a series of pulses with linear increase of rpm to a set speed, holds that speed for 3 seconds, and then stops briefly. This motion is repeated until the timer stops. This method provides a constant state of re-suspension of particles inside a tube as the acceleration is always changing.

The unit is supplied with a built-in universal holder (shown below) for deep-well and standard microplates as well as for vortexing a single tube up to 50 mL in volume. Optional racks are available for PCR plates and different sizes of microtubes. Please see options below.
