The TDB-120 dry block heat bath from Biosan provides capacity for either 53 or 103 microtubes of various sizes and is ideal for extended operation up to 96 hours. It can be used to heat samples in 0.2 mL, 0.5 mL or 1.5 mL microtubes depending upon which aluminium block configuration is installed.
The heating range for the TDB-120 is from 5°C above ambient to 120°C and the actual and set temperatures are shown on the LCD display. The unit features a timer and the lid of the dry block bath can be closed to provide operator protection from hot blocks and to increase temperature stability. The unit is controlled through a touch pad.
Heating times to reach specific temperatures are as follows:
