The BioMagPure 12 is a compact bench-top robotic workstation that uses proven magnetic bead separation technology for automated nucleic acid purification. It utilises specially developed extraction kits (please see range of extraction kits below) that incorporate pre-filled reagent cartridges and disposable consumables to enable true walk-away automation that is highly efficient, easy to use, reliable, safe and cost-effective.
The BioMagPure 12 has an ingeniously designed polygonal reaction chamber that uses patented technologies to ensure highly efficient and consistent lysis and elution. A large contact area between the magnet and the heating element maximizes magnetic bead recovery that minimizes residues in the final eluted product. The novel construction of the reaction chamber ensures unrivaled mixing ability that excludes conventional mixing techniques that can cause cross-contamination of samples.
A wide range of kits have been specially developed for the BioMagPure 12 that contain all of the plastics, pre-filled reagent cartridges, incubation buffers and sample pre-treatment solutions that are required for the extraction process. With the capacity for processing up to 12 samples per run the BioMagPure 12 is ideal for small clinics and laboratories laboratories with limited space and personnel.
